FEMININE MISTAKE
???? I didn't meet too many women like this back in my college days. So I have a question. What about women who prepare their entire lives for a career and end up in a position where they CHOOSE to stay at home? If anything I think it can be argued that some SAHMs struggle early because being what they feel they should have been all along goes against everything they were taught these days about being a woman.
This new book, The Feminine Mistake by Lesley Bennett takes a hard look at the price at-home moms make when they drop out of the working world. Most of the points she mentioned on her appearance on The Today Show were expected. She makes the claim that while men are raised to expect to have to take care of themselves, too many women still expect Prince Charming to come and take care of them. The reality of today's society is quite different.
